That's starting from 45th move of A.B.Petrosian- L.Szalai, played at a Junior Tournament 1970, if my database is fully correct about that, it has been also used as a test position here several times before, guess you knew it anyhow, just to mention

Chessdb thinks Qc3 best move? What is the truth? Talkchess search is ugly and almost useless to me.

There's not a single game changing move at 46th except the am Nxb6?, plans to break through at a- line and or c (e)- line and or g (h)- line work in different ways, which one's shortest, depends on Black's answers. 46.Qe2 as well as Qb1 pretend Black's Bf2 and or Be1 at once (so does Qc3 as for e1), but that isn't necessesary to be avoided so soon neither, not until White's attack against a- pawn, d- and c- pawn aren't ready to be executed by Knight and Queen finally. So you can start with King- moves too, bringing it to f1 sets Queen free and again guards Black's Bishop from not coming to center over f1. Other one way is to get White's King to a4 instead, that needs according manoeuvres with Knight pretending Black's a-pawn from advancing.

is the end of a game I had with Milos here some time ago, if you take the time to go it backward to starting position, you'll probably get some deeper informations. Already then I saw Lc0 playing that on its own quite well against SF.
Lc0 in the TCEC- game you quoted showed one more straight way to White's win, regards

Thank you for pointing to that thread, I had completely forgotten about it! Just a small thing: I found on the Internet that the player with black pieces is spelled 'Hazai' (sometimes 'Hazaj'):

https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1281614 (PGN attached here).
https://www.belgianchesshistory.be/tour ... t-schilde/ (Game 60 of this web).

I had some problems finding the game with 'Szalai' searches, this is why I am posting now.

Regards from Spain.

Thanks for correcting, Jesus, in my database it's stored quite right, I simply mistyped it then here, sorry for that.
Wish you and everybody a good end of 2023 and a fine 2024 in advance, regards
:)
