Some ideas on the fortune of defeating engines.

Post by heroku »

No, you play proper chess, main lines, no fooling around. Taking your time and giving your brain and soul to the game. Like if this was a challenge for super GM's or consider it educational content for 2000 rated players. I am just looking for ways to inspire myself to get into longer time controls, which I don't enjoy. Make the chess fun again with serious extra challenges. And show the engine world we can do it.

One idea, is to gamify this system, like giving points for your side analysis in a game, not to waste your efforts. If you think of a line that leads to the evaluation that you think, and specify that you gain points.

Another idea, is giving the engine random blunder points each time you make a blunder. So engine will blunder back to keep things nice and even, of course you will have to specify your evaluation of the engine move as a blunder to gain extra points.

Hey, If one, would set a goal to beat a Stockfish level 8, under certain conditions. like draw, get to move 40 those kind of goals. How would that look, and work?
