One has to be careful, because American's sometimes have a funny conception about what 'World' means. (e.g. 'World Series' to decide which one of two local baseball-competion winners is better.)![]()

We have 9 entrants now. Some of the entrants noted that their firewall software stopped the entry transmission. Some software firewall's will stop the email submission because it includes your email address.
If you entered and don't see your program on the web page, then I did not receive the entry. You could retry and tell the firewall to allow it or just send me email.

We are now at 14 entrants including Rybka and Hiarcs.
We are in the process of voting on changing the weekend from June 2,3 to July 21,22. This may be a bit easier on the WCCC participants.

We are at 19 entrants now.
The voting has put the tournament at July 21 & 22 2007.
The time control has been adjusted from 30+1 to 28+1.
Discussion has led to a name change. Instead of World Computer Quick Chess Championships, it will now be called World Computer Rapid Chess Championships.

Hello Charles.
When you get the opportunity, could you please make sure that Mark's name is the first name under our HIARCS entry? I should have listed it properly when I sent you the entry email – my apologies.
Thank you,

ICC has agreed to provide a TD and free temporary accounts for the participants.
FYI: The participants page has entries listed in a sort of geographical order. The point is to inform people if someone nearby is entering. Thus, some entrants might gather in the same place to increase the enjoyment of the tournament.
