I Agree with Aleks:

Discussion in Russian chess programmer's forum allows to suspect a high probability that some original Rybka's algorithms have been dissambled, understood and rewritten back to C-code. But it is became obvious after Sergey Markov statement, that Strelka is not Rybka's executable wrapper or recompiled disassembler sources.

So we are starting to witness a highel-level mechanism of 'cloning'.
It's more advanced than just renaming an exe, but this should still easily fall into the term "cloning".
