Logo Makers -- 2 Logos needed

Post by CRoberson »

The first is for my chess program Telepath.
The second for the ACCA -- www.taccl.org (click on the globe).

Thoughts:
For the ACCA, it should be something that says computer chess
and PanAmerican region if possible.

For Telepath, I think the name says it all -- it reads your mind,
sees what you are planning......

Hello Charles,

Never made a logo before, maybe this one is too small or using the image is not allowed? For non-commercial purposes I think it would be okay?

Christopher,

That looks interesting! Had not thought of a crystal ball.
However, it looks like a marble.
I think your idea could be taken a little further -- a
transparent crystal ball with a chess board in it.

Eelco,

That brings up thoughts of a Vulcan mind meld.

Here is something that you made me think of --
a pair of eyes (including the eyebrows) staring deeply
at you. Inside the pupil of each eye is a chess set.

Yes,

Another possibility would be a picture of a Kzinti Telepath, maybe you know the Man-Kzin novels from Larry Niven? I think I made a nice one but the original is copyrighted from a cover so I can't upload it and you can't really use it I think.

Has to be said the text on Christopher's logo is better readable, and the image is nicely abstract. Maybe the crystall ball could be made more transparent, but more details inside like a chessboard would probably get lost at this resolution.

Novel six from Larry Niven's Man-Kzin wars, about an interstellar war with intelligent BIG cats that are not too peaceful:
