Hi Mike,

I think I understand Ray's(Spock's) problem!

Romi reminds him of the Romulans. ;-)

That Lisa is kinda hot! I wonder when she turns 18?

So far, Romi NG5 vs Homer 2.0 @1+1, +11 -6 =8, but I realize that Homer is not as good at this time limit. Next, for comparison I will try 4+4.

Come on Michael. There are better ways to post test results by showing respect for the opponent and i think everyone knows now that your current beta is stronger as the latest public hamster version.
It's just a question of a fair taste. Please handle opponents as you would like be handled by them.

Best,
Daniel
Daniel, please get a sense of humor! :P

BTW, that was Romi singing her little heart out and I did tell her to stop. In the end you saw what she did to me, didn't you? So I guess that I was handled in about the same way!

Yes, Romi is stronger than Hamsters 0.2, but that is not the issue. The issue is, by how much. Any time Romi gets a new record against Hamsters it has meant a truely stronger Romi. That is why I have continued to test against Hamsters. That same correlation does not exist against other engines that I have tested against Romi. Testing against Hamsters, saves me time. It is all very logically motivated. I post it, because it is informative to Romi fans.

In the future it would be wise to send your complaints to the moderators and let them handle the situation. If they tell me to refrain from my style of humor or tone it down some, then I will. If Alessandro would tell me that he thought it was poor taste and he was offended then I would apologize. My bet, is that he had a good laugh and is even now setting down with his hamsters, plotting Romi's demise.

Look Daniel, I consider you a friend, but if you keep hounding me about my post then it is I that is going to make a complaint to the moderators.

No hard feelings and the best to you,
Mike
Hi Mike,

i will not go to the mods if somebody just has a bad taste in my view. Let me try to explain my view a little it, but i fear its worthless anyway, but i did it for other people here.

If somebody do such things, like you did in this thread, randomly over a long time its been ok (You must see this in global view, not only a single thread). Then i would say it's his humor and i'll accept it. But if somebody do this over and over again in a short time with the same topic (here Hamster) , then there is a border between humor and just bad taste or poorless comments.
In your case you reached the second case in my view.

However, i think its the best for all i just ignore your posts here in the "tournament and matches" selection. Thats what i will do now. :)

Best,
Daniel

PS: If i see your other comments, e.g you will post now ELO reports about Homer, i could asking you if you have no sense of humor about my positings ?
I guess that would hurt you, which is not my target anyway, but it might shows you up how people maybe feels by reading your posts.

Hey Daniel,

You could put me through an emotional meat grinder and it would not hurt me in the slightest. I am a rather callous fellow. I do a lot of acting to cover up that fact. I use humor to liven things up a bit and to keep my callous anger at bay. Okay, I am somewhat insensitive and I admit that and you should admit that you are way, way over sensitive. I have known this for a long time now, since the very beginning that I started reading your post. That is why I have moderated my responces towords you. I care too little and you care too much! I try to care more and you should try to care less. I have anger inside me right now because of your post, but I am the master of my emotions and will not let them get the best of me. Period. Unless I'm acting!

My testing against Hamsters has not been pointless. Hamsters has helped me to produce the strongest Romi yet, because of the huge amount of time that I save and the surety of the meaning of gaining a new record against Hamsters. I have explained all this twice before and you choose not to believe it. Do you need to be proved right so much that your sensitivity is 'right' and that my insensitivity is so wrong that you just ignore the truth of what I write. When and if testing against Hamsters becomes pointless then I will stop testing against Hamsters! Is that clear enough? I wish Alessandro to weigh in on this matter--I am sure that he is not bothered by anything that I have written about Hamsters--as I should not speak for him.

As far as Homer is concerned, I wish you only the best. I have no plans for Homer except a couple of interesting test. The rest was just joking.

I realize that you are trying to help me and I appreciate that part. I really do! However, trying to help someone else with their emotional problems when your emotional problems keep getting in the way is pointless. You are not qualified. And you are certainly not qualified to speak for other people. Let them speak for themselves!

Yes! It would be a good idea for you to just ignore my post, if you can, and not read them. Why put yourself through such turmoil?

Hope we can get past this,
Mike

Romi vs Homer, +17 -11 =17 a rather bloody match!

All joking aside--thats hard for me to do! Here are the results of the first and last test of Romi vs Homer at this time limit and probably any time limit.

RomiChessNG5 - Homer20_blend : 62.0/100 50-26-24 (11=0==11101=0=01=1=0=0111=00==1101=01====011=010=0001101110111101111=111010===1110=10111=11010101111) 62% +85

Why:
1) Homer is not good at this time control of 1+1 and => it is pointless.
2) I have no previous version history and I do not want to backtrack with the last dozen Romi betas to get it.
3) No time to do the same at longer time limits
4) I just do not know what doing better against Homer really means for Romi.
5) The author of Homer may take it personally and start a war with me! :P  (dang, I just can't help it--bad me! :( )

However, if anyone has enough experiance with Homer at this time limit and would like to interpret the above results, I am all ears!
