I promise I won't complain but you are probably going to be moderated for this, if nobody complains, moderators may acts as members and they complain to themselves and they moderate it themselves,especially Thorsten :P

There is no such thing as long long story :)
Theft is OK in the CCC. Just ask Mr. Corbit.

I can steal what I like here because it is changed and therefore original.

Code: Select all

/* Converts your code to my code */

int CloneYourCode(const char P) {
  switch(P) {
    case('P') : return wpawn;
    case('R') : return wrook;
    case('N') : return wknight;
    case('B') : return wbishop;
    case('Q') : return wqueen;
    case('K') : return wking;
    case('p') : return bpawn;
    case('r') : return brook;
    case('n') : return bknight;
    case('b') : return bbishop;

  }
  return empty;

Thanks for the enquiry Bill.

Pick an engine that you think is strong enough to use as a base.

Whilst you are doing that I'll write the main search function.

Ill make it in JScript which is also my own invention (thanks Netscape...you are too kind....)

To you Bill there is no charge however I think we should sell the engine in either Russia, Poland or Bulgaria...

We just need to set an honest price for all our own hard work.

Code: Select all

#include "moosechess.h"

(a)void pressure (SHORT way, SHORT *time)
"The question is not whether the system works, but whether we like the way it works. Just because something works doesn't mean it is desirable. Concentration camps work, if your purpose is to enslave people. Stealing works, if all you care about is money. Lying works, if you don't give a damn about your personal integrity. Literally anything, no matter how monstrously immoral will work, depending on your desires and how you define the term work."

Hello klaus,

Rather that the previous statement I think it's only fair to say some words on the truth.

I joined here on a special day (in this phpBB format guise).

I felt at that point that it was the most appropriate day to join as it explained both the place (it's contents) at that time and it's ethos (or lack of).

These days I get to express what has always been a major interest of mine, a concept which can be stretched to include AI.

Sometimes it hurts but mostly it's better to know the absolute........

I have to disapoint you, my friend -- in these countries you'll sell nothing.
May be your sales will be more succesful in Scotland or in USA.
You should give it a try.
Your engine looks very promising and you -- an aspiring young author of chess engine.
Keep up good work, Chris!
Regards,
Geno
