Spike!! Where are you??

Post by VP »

To Ralf Schäfer and Volker Böhm

This is one of the engines which has so much of potential, but I doubt if there has been a release for almost one year!!!
When is the new version coming out?? Commercial or otherwise, doesn't matter. It is nice to have an engine which plays in a very enterprising manner,
Thanks for Spike,

I guess spike authors are going to make their engine commercial with multi processor version.

Yes we have heard that for quite some time, yet the silence is deafening.

I wonder why do you think that spike has more potential then other engines.

Every engine can be improved.

The interpretation of this
This is one of the engines which has so much of potential
seems to be the issue

Of course Uri is right in saying:
Every engine can be improved.
:D

When an engine is closer in strength to Rybka, it has more potential than any of even lesser rated engines out there and that 's how I could fathom out from his post.

You are right that he did not say it but there are many engines when a new version was not released recently.
I can mention some commercial programs that were not updated recently:Shredder,Junior,Fritz

I wonder why mentioning spike and not other engines.

I think that it is the opposite.
Weak engines have more weaknesses so they have more potential for improvement.
