As I am the author of this ChessBase article, I would like to draw your attention to two important points:

1) It's a generously shortened version of my article "Freestyle - The King is back!" (German version on CSS Online) Read more at the end of this posting.

2) Please not the dates and details to the 7th Freestyle on Sept. 7-9 and Sept. 14-16.

"...The schedule for the 7th PAL/CSS Freestyle Tournament, which is not fixed yet, will most probably be like this:

9 rounds with 90min + 30sec rate of play:

I. weekend: September 7-9, 2007
1. Round: Friday 19.00 MEZ
2. Round: Saturday 14.00 MEZ
3. Round: Saturday 19.00 MEZ
4. Round: Sunday 14.00 MEZ

II. weekend: September 14-16, 2007
5. Round: Friday 19.00 MEZ
6. Round: Saturday 14.00 MEZ
7. Round: Saturday 19.00 MEZ
8. Round: Sunday 14.00 MEZ
9. Round: Sunday 19.00 MEZ

Money prizes: 1st $7000, 2nd $3500, 3rd $2000, 4th $1000, 5th $500.

Note:
Everybody, who likes to read the full English version of my article "Freestyle - The King is back!" - I will send it too you as a Freestyle Newsletter (pdf-file), inclusively reports and statements by the winners. If you didn't already subscribe the Freestyle Newsletter, you may send me an e-mail to this address: edition-marco@t-online.de (or: freestyle-nl@web.de , though I don't check this address every day). Of course the newsletter is for free.

There is no problem with the URL, you just need a PDF viewer to load the file that he is linking to.

I have Adobe Reader 8...
Usually I just have to click on the URL (or click right on the URL and record the pdf)

It's not that simple. I have Acrobat 8, but not the latest update. So, I got a whole stop for my system. At first I thought of a bug on this site with the pdf. But then I allowed the update. After several steps, after all was done, the article showed up. So, it looked like as if the URL didnt work, but that was only because Acrobat caused the 'time-out'. However, all this didnt confuse me _at all_ since I have no idea of the whole computer stuff, so I just cant get confused, I'm in a state of permanent innocence or is it ignorance? Everybody else here has to live with all the frustration of the experts. In chess this seems the same. Only a coffee-house player, a patzer, can never lose his good humor. New game means new luck. BTW this FREE STYLE could be the solution for all the questions and fights during and after this crazy RAPID EVENT! You have no rules there, they have no cheating there! It's all free and you can win a lot of prize money.
