Hi,
on an AMD X2 5200+, 256 MB hash Rybka 1.0 Beta took 6:19 min
to find 1. ..h4. As the score climbs from 1.51 to 2.85 one can hope that rybka will win the position.

Code: Select all

FEN: 8/5pk1/8/3bP1pp/3P1p2/7P/3B1K2/8 b - - 0 1

Rybka 1.0 Beta:

Analysis by Glaurung 1.2.1 SMP:

1...h4 2.Ba5 f5 3.exf6+ Kxf6 4.Bd8+ Kf5 5.Kg1 Be4 6.Be7 Bf3 7.Kf1 Bd5 8.Kg1 Bb3 9.Kf2 Bc4 10.Bd8 Be6
-/+ (-1.03) Depth: 17 00:00:02 2654kN
2...f5 is a mistake and gives up the win. Does Glaurung switch away from 2...f5 for 2...Kg6 if given more time?
