Thanks Steve for bringing this up,it looks like a lot of people are limited to give their voice

Thanks Dr.Dr.Wael Deeb wrote:Thanks Steve for bringing this up,it looks like a lot of people are limited to give their voice
before we can make any reasonable analysis of just who can and cant vote we clearly need to see what the requirements are
if a member like Mark Simpson is precluded from voting then perhaps the requirements are set too high and need to be looked into more closely for the next election

Don't know if it's the only rule but :
"As in the past, voting will be open to CCC/CTF users who have been active members for three months or more."

Re: To The TCADMIN..Voter Requirements
So it seems that the forum software detects the member's activity for the last three months and then decides who to vote and who to watchNid Hogge wrote:Hi Steve,Steve B wrote:Please disclose EXACTLY what the voter eligibility requirements areDr.Wael Deeb wrote:Thanks Steve for bringing this up,it looks like a lot of people are limited to give their voice

thanks
i am trying to get a clear definition of this statement that appears in the thread for voting:
Eligible voters must have been registered for at least three months and have a minimum level of posting activity.
so i guess "active" =minimum level of posting activity
but exactly what is that number, and for what period of time must the member have been "active"?
hopefully we will learn more soon

And I just noticed it's "three months or more" so it's pretty meaningless. Sorry for that!
Hope to hear more on this soon as well..

pals
what you're doing is like a storm in glass of water
i think the rule that requires activity of member is wise
are we voting for the president of United States here? Where is Hillary?
