Romichess NG5 is about 250 Elo better than current official version

What is the "current official version" and where can it be downloaded?

Current official version is somewhat ancient, it is called Romichess Proto 3j, and it is available for download at WBEC ridderkerk site. I do not think that the current beta is 250 elo stronger, it is more like 100 elo stronger.

There is no documentation included in these downloads or with the current official version available at WBEC Ridderker. How do you configure hash usage with these engines?

As far as I am informed,the hash usage is not configurable

I have been lazy. I will prepare a new readme file in the next few days for posting. But, basically RomiChess was just an experimental engine for trying out my own philosophy about how to write a chess program and therefore does not have a lot of features. I have learned how to program by writing RomiChess and some early work leading up to RomiChess. My first barely working program, Carnivor, just competed in Olivier Deville's promotion section and scored 6 of 11 points and is rated ~1450. My next release of the prototype version of RomiChess will be the last release of the old RomiChess and will be version P3k. It should be released in the next couple of weeks or so. Then I am going to work solely on the rewrite which will include a lot more features and hopefully be a lot stronger.
