And I must confess that I'm one of those also!
In fact, I'd hazard a guess and say that we're in a healthy majority!
To be more specific, this is what you want unless you need Qt for closed source purposes. Took me ~1.5 GB of disk space to compile on Linux, but the installed package is less than 100 MB.
