Analyzing Mexico games with Rybka.

Post by bigo »

I think it is incredible how strong computers have gotten, when going over the games in mexico of the Worlds best humans, I noticed that rybka on MY 2 core processor findss many of the moves played in a few seconds, moves that very brilliant humans perhaps took much longer to find. This is also true of Hiarcs, fritz, and many other top programs.

Yes, this is the chess situation in 2007. - Good for us as we have these software tools available, but very tough for top Grandmasters who need to demonstrate a superiour "human factor" once in a while...

yes, the comments by programs like Rybka are really useful and interesting. I heard that this site (www.chessok.com) will provide the comments made by Rybka for the games of Mexico tournament.
