They're clogging up the boards. They should be put in forum suggestions or somewhere so everyone who isn't concerned with this politics can get on with usual stuff

I do not think these threads belong in the "Forum Help and Suggestions" section. That should be for discussing the board software and design, and login problems. Right here, "General Topics", is the correct place for discussing moderation and elections..

The "General Topics" section is for:
Discussion of anything and everything relating to chess playing software and machines.
While the Forum Help and Suggestions section is for:
... questions, complaints, suggestions, and tests ...
So it seems these "democracy" threads should indeed be moved.

Agreed. I have been posting in those threads, but I've resolved now just to ignore them, and simply make posts about chess. Life is too short to be embroiled in all of that. And I don't want to risk getting into arguments that may get out of hand, or offend anyone. Peace :)

There are two threads out of how many? They are clearly marked. In what way are they "clogging up the boards"?
