The pic I see is not the CB Fritz 10. At least it looks nothing like my Fritz 10 cover.

As far as I know, Fritz usually does not include older versions.
Last Fritz I bought was Fritz 6, and it had every single previous version, sad to see that they changed that policy.

After they discontinued support for WB engines, instead of fixing the compatibility problems, I decided to not buy anymore chessbase products.

Again the link you provide is not what the Fritz 10 cover looks like at all. I am guessing this is just another chess program called Fritz and not the Chess base Fritz 10.

Sorry brother, it is the real thing. Just picked it up. It is published by Viva Media and Chessbase here in north america. It comes on a single DVD. GUI date is Sep 4 2007 and the engine version is 10.1.2.0 it did come with a serial number (online code) for playchess.

Although the manual is a bit vague, it says that this version comes with full membership for 30 days then I need to register the serial number. So I am not sure if the number provided in the box is for only 30 days or for a full year.

Thanks again for all the advices
