Currently I am doing a match (Nunn type like but with the full Silver set)
with the new Shredder 11UCI and as in its predecessors 'Position Learning'
is on here by default(and unchanged by me). I noticed though that so far
after 71 games it did not create a learnfile as Shredder 9.1 did here?
I don't remember though when the position learning is triggered, may be
it is time control dependent or depends on other factors?
The current match tc is 40/5. IIRC (but my memory might fail) Shredder
9.1 created a learn file after every game independent of book usage
and time control?

Are you sure Shredder doesn't create a learnfile ?GS wrote:Currently I am doing a match (Nunn type like but with the full Silver set)

I think you're blind
Just some hints: You must think like M$ Vista and you'll find it probably.

Edit: Still it was a good hint, thanks. Independent from my OS and different from the last Shredder version I have(9.1) it now creates the learnfile in a user folder!

I wrote you must "think" like Vista, doesn't matter which Windows version you use.
second hint: "Anwenderdaten", %USER%
