I would say that it denies us alot, not having seen Zappa in this tournament.

It seems that Anthony did not really want Erdo to play in Leiden at this moment as Lukas reported on the Hiarcs forum.
Hi Lukas,

I think 'want' the answer is yes. The problem is that is the team is basically Erdo and he spent so long preparing for and playing in Mexico that he is expected to spend a little time at home by his family.

I will let you know if I hear any news.

I actually was glad because it may mean that Anthony has not given up chess programming yet and maybe will come back at another time. At least I hope that is what it means!

Sure! but one guesses they would probably be also atleast 1 point below the winner...Rybka. But Zappa? there is reason to believe it might have come much closer. Anything between 7-9, and each half point difference would have been a great intrigue.
