Re: bright-0.2c released
I have examined the sources, Swami's logo is quiet marvelous actually. It does have one chair that is a clear case of cut and paste, I urge the author to make it GPL.

here is the source, the free laser article available on the webDr.Wael Deeb wrote:You two,Swami and Graham, send me the source code of your logos to take a look at then I'll decideswami wrote:That was a microscopic laser, whereas Graham's one was just light source, and Graham's had most of the background as black and this logo has blue that covers more than half of the area, fonts size and colors are different too. I dont see any similarity here except blue and white as common coloursGraham's logo for Bright is cool too,However if he feels that this looks somewhat from the similar source he had initially picked up from(ie microscopic laser), then I can remove it from the webpage and create a new one

Nice logo Swami.
I can sense Wael and Tony being humorous, but Gabor not...there was some seriousness in his tone although his previous posts in archives tell me that he can be humorous sometimes. Therefore unpredictable.

I think someone once told me it meant "Rye Castle," but I'm not sure if they were correct. Perhaps one of our Dutch chess lovers could clarify...?

No, I told you it means Rye City in German. So, the name isn't Dutch, at least not exclusively. Some Dutch people have German names, such as Ed Schroeder.
All the best,
