The score does not go up very fast, but Qf5 stays the best move. Nc4 is temporarily sidetracking Checkov Beta:

Not only is my engine, the first results that I have given are of Fritz 10 after 4 hours.

I believe that if you let the engines to think more about this position is possible they do other moves, the difference between some of them as Qf5, Qf3 and a3 are minimal, you not can talk "better move".

Another example Toga 1.2.1a.

In the first 10 minutes believes that Qf5 is the best move, but then ...

Code: Select all

Depth 18, time 30 minutes

Analysis by Toga II 1.2.1a:

Exuse me? I Know that 17. Qf5! is Best and what its Purpose serves as I played it OTB and Understand the logical follow up!

After 17. Qf5!..g6 (forced) 18. Qh3 and Black now faces eventual doom, 18..Kg7 19. f5!..de 20. fg!..fg (if 20..f6?! 21. Ne4!!+− ) 21. Qg4!..Qg5 22. Qe4!..Re6 22. Nb3..Qe7 23. c4!+− .

There's a lot more, but you get the picture...or you should.
