On January 19, 2008, we will hold a team match on ICC.
The teams will be made up of authors engines and some operators
with the hope that the author can be online as well. One team
will represent the Western Hemisphere (Pan Am regiion) and
the second will represent the Eastern Hemispere (Rest of the World).
It will be two games per board at long time controls (G/100+30).
It is open to any author or authorized operator world wide.
The web pages and registration can be found at:
http://www.taccl.org/ACCATeamMatch/2008 ... Match.html
Please be careful on sign up - sometimes firewalls block the
transmission of registration. If you haven't received a confirmation
from me within 24 hours of your registration, then email me the
registration info manually.

I just want to mention that the link to the RWBC ratings is wrong.
RWBC has an own domain since quite a while. You get it also via my
signature here.
It also seems (probably related to above) that you somehow take
older/different ratings than the actual ones e.g. for the ACCA team match.
Best regards,
Guenther

It is Crashtest Dummy that will be playing, not the Baron. Development on the Baron was stopped last summer.

if you've laid The Baron to rest, would it be possible to release the final version for us all to enjoy?
Just hoping for a nice Christmas pressie!

Re: West vs East Hemisphere Comp Chess Team Match
Currently, we have 7 Western Hemisphere team members and 6
Eastern Hemisphere team members inlcuding a new engine called
Oxygen.
Its stacking up well. Its just a one day event which should be a
great warm up for CCT10.

Re: West vs East Hemisphere Comp Chess Team Match
Matilde has joined the Eastern Hemisphere team and
if Crafty the West, we'll move Naum to the East.
Only a few days left to enter. The event is this Saturday Jan 19.

Re: West vs East Hemisphere Comp Chess Team Match
Charles,
The web site still does not have round times, and part of the page shows game 100+30 but the stuff below that shows 45+15. Can you add some more details so I show up at the right time with the right time controls?
Thanks!
Mark

Re: West vs East Hemisphere Comp Chess Team Match
We are voting on the TC now (the participants) - it will take a
unanimous decision to change it from G/100 + 30 to G/80 +30.
So, far 50% have voted to either change or don't care.
On the start time - voting there also. So far, it will be at
10 am Eastern US (New York time / ICC Server time).
