This Zappa I refer to is the latest version Anthony put out. As soon as this match between Naum and Rybka is concluded- a 30 game match with exact conditions will take place between Naum and Zappa Mexico II. The only difference will be i am running it on a faster computer, and the time control will be 40/58 repeating instead of 40/66 repeating- to adapt it to CCRL controls. I feel i owe it to Alex and Naum to give them a realistic shot at a still very, very strong program. One of these 2 is Number 2 in the world, if you were to discount the best Toga which i have seen no results with yet. But i will call it for the Number 2 Commercial Spot. How's that? Now this match will make for some very, very interesting discussion and picks. So let's hear from all of you with predictions for this one. And i will have the latest Ryka _ Naum update shortly, as they are approaching the two-thirds mark of this match. But I dont know one of you who is not smarter and a better picker than me- and this Naum- Zappa will be a tough one to handicap. Let's hear some thoughts!
Regards

I think that if Zappa loses this match badly it should be replayed with an earlier version of Zappa Mexicogeots wrote:Let's hear some thoughts!

I believe that naum should do better than it against zappa 32 bits but I also believe that zappa dislike your book lines based on the result against rybka(I initially thought 16-14 for zappa but decided to change it to 15-15)

I have run Naum 3 64-bit vs Zappa Mexico II 64-bit both on 1CPU
Zappa won 18.5 - 13.5
Now we know Zappa is much stronger on 64-bit than 32-bit, so...
Both on 32-bit this will be very close. I'd guess a draw

Your result is clearly bad result and based on the results that I see we may not see even 50 elo improvement based on CCRL results.Spock wrote:I have run Naum 3 64-bit vs Zappa Mexico II 64-bit both on 1CPU

The result is what it is.
