CEGT - blitz ratinglist update February 24th 2008

Post by Werner »

Hi,
today we have only an update of our 40/4 list as our admin was working all the weekend - the other lists will follow soon.

At first to mention: After 7 months of absence Alex Alban ( "Leto") is back in CEGT. As he has now a quad-PC, we will be able to force quad engines in blitz too! Welcome back, Leto! :-)

More than 7000 games were added to our list which now is based on 271.442 games. The games of the week list can be found at: http://husvankempen.de/nunn/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=942 . As you see most of them were played with the various versions of Naum 3.

In detail:

Naum 3.0 x64 4CPU is now the clear No. 2 behind Rybka (-81). However, all Quad versions of the programs still have few games (this will be changed now).

Naum 3.0 x64 2CPU after 1720 games has a rating of 2947 and an increase of 54 points corresponding to 2.2

Naum 3.0 w32 1CPU has played 1830 games and with 2855 elo a rise of 57 according to 2.2

Our "problem" from the last list (Zappa Mexico II w32 2CPU) now has over 1000 games with a -89 to the x64 version. A bit a more realistic than 2 weeks ago, were it was about 140.

Outlook for the next update:
- More games for 4CPU engines
- to make more games with engines under 1000 games
- There will be at least 10 new engines in the rear areas added to our list
