I downloaded the x86 for the 32 bit system. I ran it, ie installed it. I then double clicked on the GarboChess 2-32.exe to load it. It loads, but its name is GarboChess v2.0x64. Thinking that was the 64 bit exe, i unloaded it and tried the other, but it wont load. Exactly what did i load when i did the above.

Probably an error from the authors part. The one that you clicked is indeed the 32bit version as that's the only one that would work on my computer.

Thanks Tony. Im headed for bed. Personally, i unloaded it because i wanted to unload the program required to install to run it. It caused a number of minor- not major ( just little headaches) changes to the way certain things worked on my system that i have to think about and weigh in my mind if the strength of the program is worth putting up with. Yeah, I just forgot to rename it for the 32 bit compile. If it runs on a 32 bit system, it's not the 64 bit binary
