Note that http://hiarcs.com/pc_uci_options.htm

suggests the option "Sharpen PV" should be on for one minute per move
and longer. Whether this makes much difference in strength I don't know!

However it should be a nice match!

We play with the default parameters. That advice is very imprecise - 1 minute per move an an Athlon 1200, or 1 minute per move on a 4 GHz Intel Quad ??

CCRL will test at the default OFF setting

We dont know either. We were caught in the midst of matches already begun with the setting off and are discussing the matter

We've restarted our Hiarcs 12 testing with Sharpen PV switched on as requested by Mark.
We'll probably test with the setting off as well to get a comparison.
