Caligula just missed the "Double Promotion" to Division 5, instead in the next edition it will play in Division 6, the rule is that the engine should get >50/60 in order to be double promoted.

I want to get the votes from the users for the rule of double promotion in order to keep the strength balance. Is > 50/60 ok?

I would say that you should promote Caligula. It would be a waste of your time to let it play in a division its too strong for. If you promote it to 5th division and it gets relegated back to 6th, I will wear a white T-shirt that says Swami is the man or I can run around my house naked, but I am not sure who wins there.

If i had to guess, i don't think it would get relegated back to division 6, it's just so strong, but i have to play by rules. So are you saying, >45/60 is okay for you? What is the rule that you want to suggest for double promotion? Is >50/60(current rule) too high? I can only enforce new rules in the next edition, after some discussion with members. Now I have got to talk to my Boss, Ulysses.

I usually use my gut feelings and not any silly rules. For example, an engine can score only 49.5/60 just because it drew too many games without any loses. Since Caligula only lost 5 games, and managed to not lose any single head to head match, I would promote it. Rules are necessary, but we can change them as we go along. I would say that 75% or above is a good enough score that we can safely promote them two divisions.
