Best,
Don't worry, my new strategy may actually be worse than this one ;)
May be you should submit your strategy for peer review. Wanna?

No! If my strategy turns out to be groundbreaking, everyone will be using it against me! ;)

You can't crack the code with hat tricks or 10 division wins all the time, wanna bet?

I know, I'm just trying to find a strategy that is good enough to keep me away from the last place, that's all

Well, You are getting in top 3 most of the time. Just don't get dejected because you lost only one division out of so many.

simple strategy, to win the first place, according to me, is to run a single round robin and get the top 3 in your tests, enough to get >6 division wins all the time...but drawback is that no one has so much free time and another drawback is that probability is significant that one engine in 7th place of 30 rounds may come 2nd after 60 rounds. :)

Thanks. Yes, I don't have much free time, my Junior tourney has been stuck for a while...
