ICC help

As you all know from the other thread, I have an ICC account that I am trying to use.. I have not played any games yet, as I do not know how to play games with engines. I do know how to play as human. My handle on ICC is apocalypse1112, it is a computer account. I do know how to connect to ICC using Chesspartner 5.4. I already have Romichess installed in Chesspartner as a winboard engine, and I can play against it. What are the next steps??

Any help appreciated, please note that this is my first time, so please be kind and give me every single detail..

Figuring out how to do this by myself is turning my brain in to a calory burning taebo master...

I disconnected and then when I right clicked went to properties, and clicked engine plays..

I think I have got this figured out, Romi is playing her first game, let me log off...

Romichess won her first game against Puppydog...but I still dont have this whole thing figured out..

I'd suggest going to Extra > Options > Books

And unchecking the Use GUI Books while checking the Use Engine Books box, so Romi uses her own book.

She is using her own book..That was one of the first things that I did as soon as I installed the engine. However, I dont understand why she flagged early in the game and after the loss the program wouldnt respond. Now I cannot play anymore rated games, it says that I cannot when I do a seek. I am not sure what I am supposed to do to be eligible to play rated games once again.

I think the early flagging is the reason, Romi stopped responding at move 5..Then I received a message saying Please Check the account apocalypse1112 for malfunction, it flagged early on ICC in a rated game.

Ulysses, how do I contact an admin? How do I find one once logged in using Chesspartner?

Sorry, I don't use ICC, but FICS. Try asking for help in channel 1 (or the help channel.)
