[CCB] Division 5,Edition 9

Some Notes:

* Double Promotion awarded to Twisted Logic. TL will play in Division 3 next edition.

* Garbo and Arion will play in Division 4 next edition.

* There will be a Grand Blitz Tournament, I will compare the results of GBT with the Division league. There might be possible promotion/demotion based on GBT scores relative to Division rankings..to make changes.

* 3 Engines added to the waiting list. (Aice, Horizon, Djinn)

* CCB Ratings list will be ready by the end of Edition 9.

Only because I am no longer around. I want people to say something like, what if Tony was still an active predictor..Kind of like how strong Ferret would have been, if it was still being actively developed? Or the Ode to Ruffian..

Tell you the truth, I wouldnt have won this division due to favoritism..I would have picked Twisted, Garbo and Goatka..

I was on the verge to quitting computer chess. I spend all the money I had for noodles on an ICC account then all of a sudden you kind of gave up on programming. I used to look forward to my monthly testing of Romi. Now that it was gone, I had slowed down a bit..

Shoot, I sure can use a Romi that sees advantages that other engines see...In a game against Oxygen online the other day, oxygen was seeing +2.2 advantage for itself, and romi was only seeing a slight disadvantage until it was too late. Romi wasnt even seeing the line Oxygen was kibitzing.

Then Romi would not be Romi anymore. What about the 10's of thousands of games where Romi did not see the other sides huge advantage and then won against all reason. Those would go away also. Maybe what would be left would be renamed Fruitka! And by the way I am working (slowly) on a 'Fruitka', but it is not a Romika. Anyway, once my Fruitka is up and running, I will give it all sorts of crazy new ideas. Then I can see which of my ideas are good and which are crap. In the meantime I hope to make RomiChess stronger. I will do all this as I find the time. And I do not know when that will be.

Guenther Simon once wrote, "Romi can even lose from a superior position"! That was just after Romi won a bunch of games from inferrior positions. So it was a bit sarcastic!
