best,
It's going to hurt a lot of people's predictions..I predicted the same engines as lot of others, so I am not even worried..I will be a loser along with them.

At least I am happy with the brand new opening book of Bright,it's doing great so far, even more this is a blitz tournament where a good opening book is essential 8-)

best,
Could be one of the reason:
  • - Not too good playing weaker engines, relative to its counterparts.

    - May get points letter. Too soon to jump to conclusion.
Glaurung doesn't seem to have any problem and is functioning well with 2 cores. But it does not garner more points so...

I think you should point out which engines are using 2 cores, or much simpler: make single core tourney... But nevermind :-) tourney is still interesting :-)

Geno

Hi Swami,
Are you sure that these three engines work as a MP engine :!: :?:

1.Amy 0.8.7b has cpu=1 in it's config file, but even if you set it to 2,it won't use the two processors....
2.DanChess is the same case....
3.Hamsters 0.6 is not a MP chess engine, have you looked into the UCI config window, cause I did and I thought that I've missed something, but no....it's not a MP playing chess engine....
