Re: To campaign or not
This is not the case here because Vas does not claim part of fruit to be his code.tiger wrote:Graham Banks wrote:If everybody had to construct a new and totally unique wheel when they needed one, we'd still be living in the stone age too.GenoM wrote:If the scientists had been learning some politics instead of researching for truth, you would be still living in the stone age.chrisw wrote:Well you better watch out and start learning some politics fast.
If the rule is that you can claim anybody's wheel as your own we are back at stone age for sure.

Vas claims the car(rybka) to be his car when maybe there is a wheel from fruit.
If you cannot use an existing wheel togeter with original components to build your car then it is not encouraging to build a new car.
Paying to the person who build the wheel is logical but I think that it should be only minority of the price of the car and a rule that force you to give to the public all the secrets of designing the car only because you used an existing wheel is an unfair rule.

I think you have a problem realizing who the Spanish Inquisition is.Graham Banks wrote:And did you notice that I apologised to you or does that not mean anything?Tony wrote:I have only been accused twice. I'd have stuck up for any engine author being persecuted and vilified in such a merciless and public manner.
And yes, I know you'll say that none of you have anything against Vas, but I'm afraid that it certainly doesn't look that way.
I hope that you never have to face such an inquisition.
If you felt you had a case, it should have been put together in private and then presented in its entirety as somebody else suggested.
Graham.
Tony
If I'd gone after you the same way you've gone after Uri, you'd know all about being persecuted.
Graham.

I've always respected the way that you call it as you see it, except when you lose your rag.Terry McCracken wrote:No, as I've said nothing warranting being sheared or fleeced.Graham Banks wrote: Are you ready to be shorn yet Terry?

I'm just calling it the way I see it too.

This business of me losing it is a straw man tactic used by people who haven't an arguement.

The claim is to be able to manufacture another wheel in your garden shed or Guadeloupean equivalent.

Godwin's Law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies)[1] is an adage formulated by Mike Godwin in 1990. The law states:[2][3]
"As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one."
