new Arasan website

Post by jdart »

I have updated my website at http://www.arasanchess.org. It now includes some annotated games, a test suite browser, a page for new test positions and a technical blog. If you want a break from Rybka discussion, check it out. I've edited it as best I can but if there are problems with the page design or content, let me know.

Nice site Jon. Your recent engine improvements (and your corresponding victories over LearningLemming on ICC) have been a fine motivator to get me working on my search function again.

Nice, simple and straight-forward site.
Swami would be happy to see the Tamil header.

A great new site for Arasan and even greater news for working over a newer version which seems to be 100 Elo stronger than the lateast public version :D

Damn, I've been reworking ZCT's website, and I thought it was looking pretty nice. But it sucks compared to that! ;)

I am planning on having some cool dynamic content though: a graph of rating increase for each version (with error margins), and a graph of ICC rating history. This will of course be updated automatically...

This would be a great idea Zach,I have something similar which is called a Elo tracker system and I am intending to publish the results in a web site soon I hope....
The thing is that I test and continue to test several versions of a particular engine to see how it evolve with time....

That sounds cool, but with the big number of versions I produce (which are mainly just small tweaks), a visualization can help!
