Hi Miguel,

I use feature san=0 (default value anyway) to avoid this problem. I know you may be aware of that, just in case :-)

yes... I could do that but I invested quite a bit of time to implement SAN. Maybe I can add a switch that will allow the user to determine when gaviota will use SAN or not.

I read that Marquez thought Rabassa's fantastic translation of his magnum opus "100 years of solitude" was superior to the original.
