I hope to get that 45% before the ACCA tournament! Fingers crossed!!

Edit: Oh sorry, no SMP support yet. And not enough time before the tourney. So, unless Tord comes to the rescue ...
Nay, no last minute untested changes, I doubt that Tord will come to the rescue, unless you can find few mistakes in his program like he offered a while back. Make sure you make a version that Kabitz, kabitz. I read that winboard can Kibitz on its on but I am not sure where that option is. Have you read my email yet? We should get a decent book about two weeks before the tournament, so that I can try and tune it a little bit. By the way, you can go ahead and sign us up for the tournament, I have already taken those 8th and 9th off.

Okay, I will sign up, but first I must get some sleep.

If you can get Winboard to kabitz for Romi it would be better. There is a compiler bug that when kabitzing is enabled the learn file data is offset by one byte and as a result Romi crashes. The kabitzing code has nothing to do with the file system, but somehow it skrews it up. :? Maybe that is what was happening to Romi in the last ACCA event?

The problem was there even when Polyglot was doing the kibitzing, so the problem is independant of Kibitzing. Didnt you say you found a problem with Ponder, where if the move played by the opponent was compleltely different Romi deleted all the search data or something? Please go get some sleep.. I shall run Romi at the ACCA time control few times against opponents that I can find on ICC right after I get my computer.

I finally set up the computer few minutes ago after I came back from work. The computer is working, I cant seem to find the installation disk for Bellsouth FastAccess, and cant find any blank CD-R's. I am either going to drive to wal-mart in few minutes or wait until tomorrow morning to get the internet working. Oh well, let me try few other things as well.

Charles, I think it would be fun to let everyone play. I remember that last time Learninglemming showed up at last minute before the tournament but wasnt allowed to play. Also, you showed up sort of late the last time.

If you don't/didn't hear from me in two days of registering, then
