Thanks Ted, for the press conference audio... I was very much interested in the last question (which was finally asked to Kramnik) - "Why play the same opening variation as was played in Game 3?"
Ans: He was prepared for it and thought that there was a chance for him to win. (But, Anand may have been a bit more prepared!)

We might have just seen the last Slav of the match!? ....

Like I said on the previous page. Anand planned this well ahead of time, every detail.

Anand is brilliant!
Yes, Terry, would he beat time-handicapped Rybka? I think they are about equal.

Indeed, I think he loaded Rybka into his brain over the many months of preparation.
Now we have an Anand/Rybka Killing Machine!
Better than Rybka Alone Regards?
Terry
P.S. I think Vas should create an Anand personality for Rybka!

Ofcourse, it's better. I'm not sure if it can be programmed and matched, I think I heard someone telling me that only chessmaster personality creator is straight forward and never other engines.
It would be great if Vas made the personality options just like how it was in chessmaster...so that people who has Rybka can fiddle around creating personalities and come up with the even better version. I think I will make this post in Rybka forum requesting this feature.
P.S: Yes, Vas should create a special Anand personality aside the so called Dynamic or Human I have heard.
IM Malcolm Pein:A psychological hammer blow. You can come prepared Vlad but my novelty will still come first. I can play quicker than you and outplay you in your time trouble. I can't see Kramnik coming back from this 1.5-3.5 down, three more games with white and his main lines wrecked

He'd probably have to pay to use Anand's name. I doubt it would be worth it.
Vas had earlier mentioned in the old Rybka forum that he would love to work with a top super GM like Anand to make his Rybka - the best chess playing engine in the world (or something to that effect).
Vas has managed very well without Anand and now with the help of Larry Kaufman, Rybka is scaling new heights every release.
But, I still believe Anand would be able to beat Rybka 3, without any handicap. Rybka 4 may be something else altogether.
