Thanks, Graham. It's about ~34 elo stronger, looks significant, perhaps it's unlucky in the last tournament or maybe other engines were stronger?

I think the author will release it once it gets 50 elo better. Or maybe after the CCT if there ever is one. I'd operate Bright 4 CPU's at CCT, Last time in ACCA World Champs I was offered to operate but unfortunately I was not around, been out of station.

No idea. Perhaps he's just a very private person. I would doubt that he has retired. Bright holds too much promise and is making such good progress.

The truth is that Allard is quite a busy guy and he always answers my e-mails when I contact him....he'll show up at the time,be patient :D
