What is the Chess Engine generator? Is it a program that writes chess programs. If yes then are they better then human written chess programs?

Each chess player is racing to have an implant in order to win prestigious tournaments and the top 50 players of the planet are now Centaur/Cyborg chess players as normal humans without chip implants are no match against them.
Are your Cyborg players better computers chess players? I think a pure computer would be better because the human brain part would slow down the whole process. You get fewer positions per second.

Is the new human brain port replacing the human with a computer? Then it is not human anymore. Or is the human brain port just a port to add chips for multiprocessing to a human brain. Then again the pure computer will be faster because the human brain part would slow things.

The world of 2108 will be as different from the world of 2008 as the world of 2008 is different from the world of 1908. This is also as different from the world of 1908 to the world of 1808.

From my experience, the world of 1808 was more like 1908 than 1908 was like 2008. "progress" is not necessarily linear.

The rate appears nonlinear or more in later times because of the compounding affect. The rate is the same but if you start from a higher point then result looks much bigger. It’s like money in the bank. The bank pays 5 percent. So going from $1 to $1.05 looks less then going from $1,000,000 to $1,050,000 because you can do a lot more with $50,000 then with $.05. But the rate of increase is the same.

..... human beings will be taking many draws playing against

Post by Father »

in 100 years, a human being, will be taking many draws playing against chess computers......exacly like it is now ........
I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.
