Standings after Round 30 of 44

10TH CCRL AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP (Division 4)

Intel Q6600 Quad Core
Fritz 11 GUI
128mb hash each
3-4-5 piece tablebases
Ponder off
HS-Variety.ctg book (limited to 12 moves)
40 moves in 32 minutes repeating (adapted for the CCRL)
4 cycles 44 rounds
Updated versions will only be introduced before the completion of the first cycle.
The top engine is likely to be promoted into Division 3. The second top engine will play a ten game match against the second bottom engine from Division 3 to determine which divisions they are likely to play in for the following season. The bottom engine is likely to be relegated into Division 5. The second bottom engine will play a ten game match against the second placed engine in Division 5 to determine which divisions they are likely to play in for the following season.

This one is going to be tight at the top.
Rotor was the top seed before the tournament started, and I reckon it will end up on top.
However, I predict that the battle for second will be a real dogfight.

Chronos was intentionaly holding it's breath until the last rounds and then rapidly pulled itself into the leading position....
