Hello, I'm new and I have a question.

Okay, I have a palm pda and it has open chess and I like the opening book it comes with,but want better so I wana find a opening book for the chess program and there is NOTHING in prc/pdb format. So, any opening books for open chess, any free programs (freeware not shareware) that can anylizie stuff and has a diffrent opening book?

Hi,

My advice - spend 29 Euros and buy Hiarcs 9.7 for Palm. It is an excellent Program with great graphics and 2650 elo strength. You can transfer games and PGN databses to and from it and it comes with a huge openings book.

I also guess that hiarcs soft for palm is excellent!!! What i dont know if Palm OS is going to survive for much more time..... Maybe its better to buy not a Palm but a Pocket PC.... I am not an expert, but i can smell.......

Pls tell us about the future of Palm devices!!!! look at palmstore.com and ull see that many models doesnt exist anymore or are dicontinued, and the only one till now is Palm Treo.........
