Best free linux engine for analysis with multi-pv?

Hi everyone! (I'm new here).

Does anyone have any suggestions on which engine is generally strongest for analyzing (hours per move potentially) chess on linux (featuring Multi-PV).

Since it is possible to run windows executables with wine, windows-only suggestions are welcome as well. However, I would prefer to settle for a linux-native solution.

I have battled a few engines against each other in blitz, but I suspect that this is not a good measure for long-time analysis strength.

I run Glaurung 2.2. I run the 64-bit version as I run 64-bit Ubuntu. I also use Crafty 22.8 as well and while it is weaker than Glaurung, it still offers useful insights on some positions.

Rybka runs well in 64bits via microwine.
For free, You are looking at Glaurung/Stockfish, Crafty or Scorpio. Naum 4 and Shredder 11 may be the top commercial Linux native programs.

as far as I know, yes. and in Fruit as well.

It is not broken in Deep Learning Toga and its descendant, The Mad Prune (which does not have learning capabilities). From all the Toga versions, I am using The Mad Prune, precisely for this reason.

Other options would be:
- Glaurung 2.2: it has no clear advantage or disadvantage compared to TMP.
- Fruit 2.3.1: it can use nalimov TBs, but it cannot use many CPUs
- Naum 4: it can use nalimov TBs, it can use many CPUs, it can display multi-PV and it is the strongest native linux engine, but it is not free.

Yep. rybka 2.2n2 is free and works with wine.
Would you say that it is stronger that the others mentioned in this thread?
