Hi Swami,

Seems around the 2000 mark.
I just tested it on another Windows XP machine and it's not running.
Something missing in the distribution I think.

It's ok.
It's working in xboard mode '-xboard' in Arena, but console mode doesn't
open on my other machine for some reason.

This was the error I was getting on my Win98 machine, it looks like engine will work on Win98 in xboard mode, but not in console mode.

I have found a small error in the protover command.
This may causing a crash for some systems.

1. Removed ncurses library dependency.
2. Fixed setboard/analyze support under winboard.
3. Fixed checkmate crash.
4. Fixed time control problems.
5. Fixed bookthinker support.
