Hello Ambrose,

Welcome to the forum. Are you related to the famous general from the American civil war :) It is a beautiful name. In Dutch you would be called Ambrosius.

"Fruit Cake 1.0" is... not very strong. Of course everyone, well not everyone I suppose, would like to see a stronger engine as a an official TDDB effort but with this release we would first of all like to invite people to make changes to the code and not just use it as an engine. I think the name is very silly but that was Norm's idea :) Now nobody is going to take this serious I'm afraid, it's worse than Toga Mara! As I sincerely hope this name will not end up in the rating lists, we maybe should also ask people to think of better names as well as new ideas for the code. The suggestions are welcome here: Fruitcake 1.0 thread on TDDB

Eelco
Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first
place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you
are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

in january i created that post at the TDDB in an effort to bring all the Toga development together...but since that initial post, i have not been involved.

i believe that Denis M. recently released a new version of toga (but it's called 'team toga'?)...and was created by and worked on by (?) ...

as many know, out of respect for the authors of closed-source programs, i have stopped the development of cyclone and, since december, have been focused on demon, due to be released soon i hope...
