Thanks in advance regards,

DeepLearningToga is Bill's development version so it will not be released, unless it would show enough improvement. But you would have to ask Bill Mowery, or maybe become a tester. There are some problems still with using it on four cores so that is not resolved yet, it probably is the same with The Mad Prune, which is weaker and does not learn but for which Denis has made a compile abvailable. It is not meant for the rating lists but the Toga team would like it if there was some feedback for it. We are not sure yet if it only involves the Chessbase GUI, we would welcome experiences from people with Quads (see also some other posts from Denis about Team Toga about that). Denis used a new switch during compiling under Linux but it turned out you have to download a special .dll to use it under Windows, to get it to work. The details about TMDP 1.6.51 and help from Arturo are to be found on TDDB. I don't know how stable the latest version The Mad Prune 1.6.51 or 52 is.

place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you
are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

Thanks Elco, got the message and I'll be more than pleased to test it on my Quad at long time controls
Feedback will be given regards,

Unfortunately not one of the Togas that are released are working on 4-cores.
They all have a bug which cause them to crash, so the engine stops delivering any move and loses on time..

Hi Damir,
Thanks for the info....bad news and a nasty bug indeed....
I hope that it will work well on 2CPU....
Quad regards,

The latest test version which I recieved is DeepLearningToga 1.6.50,but it failed to fire up because it needs libiomp5md.dll....

Yes that is the .dll I believe Arturo is talking about in the same thread. I'm not 100% sure if you can download that file if you are not registered first but I think it should be possible or else maybe Damir could help you. So this is just for testing purposes; if it turns out we should not be hosting this .dll then Denis will maybe have to make a different compile but as you can read he is very far from home and his main computer in the Philippines had broken down.
He does have a spare computer with him, but no Internet in his room. It may take a while and he only occasionally can read the forum.

Wael, this link is not visible or does not work for unregistered visitors then? I thought that in the public forum the files could be downloaded?
arturo wrote:Damir; Put this file. libiomp5md.dll, in the same folder as Madprune 1.6.52 & 1.6.51 and the engine will run ok. This dll is needed when a certain switch is used during compilation. This is an Intel corporation .dll and is sometimes needed to run things that are compiled with intel compilers. all the best , arturo
Otherwise PM me an e-mail address if you do not have the .dll from Denis yet?

I think that was caused by the compiler options of the Intel Compiler. I don't know if there is a download available somewhere. It might need to be recompiled without that option if the .dll is not available.
