I don't know which GUI you intend to use, but TeamFight under ChessGUI was meant for such events
Matthias.
My engine was quite strong till I added knowledge to it.

Matthias.
that was what I was thinking, but Brian might possibly run this tournament for me using CCRL testing conditions, so I'm not sure what we'll do yet.
I've used the team fight format in ChessGUI before and it's very good.
Cheers,
Graham.

Rules for the Knockout
Hi Graham,
Perhaps I've not been paying attention but could you please indulge me and explain the rules?
I understand 40 moves in 40 minutes. But:
How many games are played in each round by each Engine?
Does each engine only play the opponent's one from the corresponding group?
I guess the team with the most points overall goes through to Round 2 and the loser is eliminated?
Sorry if you've maybe said all of this before!
