I'm thinking of getting the phemon II 950 3.2, anyone with these processors fritzmark ect.

See if yours is listed here.
Should give you some idea.
For now the i7 four core socket is fast.

Hi, why are the weaker CPUs more expensive ??

It's about 4% slower than a Core 2 of the same clockspeed for chess. I presume you're talking about the Phenom II 955 3.2Ghz.

Most people can overclock it to around 3.6 - 3.8Ghz without problems.
