14th Amateur Series Division 5

14TH AMATEUR SERIES (Division 5)

Intel Q6600 Quad Core
ChessGUI
128mb hash each
3-4-5 piece tablebases
Ponder off
HS-Large Remis book (limited to 12 moves)
40 moves in 32 minutes repeating (adapted for the CCRL)
4 cycles 44 rounds
All engines 32-bit 1CPU
Updated versions will only be introduced before the completion of the first cycle.
This will be the final series that both Asterisk and Flux will play in unless new versions are released. The top two engines will gain automatic promotion into Division 4 for the following series. The third placed engine will play a ten game promotion/relegation match against the bottom engine from Division 4. There will be no automatic relegation this time around, but the bottom engine will play a ten game promotion/relegation match against the fifth placed engine from Division 6.
