Rook f6 must be made able to stay there, if white still has a dark square bishop. Bc3 is a defensive alternative to the offensive Bc5.
How else can white's looming Be5 be answered ?

Matthias.
correction !

My vote : 31 ... Bc5

... switching from boring defence to attack and excitement

Matthias.
My engine was quite strong till I added knowledge to it.

Today males are weak in chess relative to females and
black seems to lose the game because of not consulting with some female and now it seems to be too late.

For the record here is the opinion of the female that I asked
1.58/17 for white.

Bc5

Let me show you a line or two Matthias.

Bc5 h5 Raf8 Bg3 R8f7 hxg6 hxg6 Rf1 Qb4 Bh4

and.......

Bc5 h5 Raf8 Bg3 R8f7 hxg6 hxg6 b4

Both these lines are very nice for us and quite likely.

For sure it's Bc5 for me.

Christopher
Funny, the first line after Rf1 looks so dead lost to me.

I vote for Bc3
Bc5 h5 Raf8 Bg3 R8f7 hxg6 hxg6 Rf1 Qb4 Bh4 Rf4 Qg3 Bd6 Rd1 Qc5

:)

That takes it a little further.
