Did you notice he didn't post anything about the bugs even ih he has the software ? What crap, did they reach service pack 10 already ? Are the sysops on their server also "changed" with each "SERVICE"-pack ?

There are rumours that this invisible download will be available soon.

:)

I can't save a layout in it Mike. I really can't, it just wont do it. 11 does. I must admit I dont understand why what was fixed is now broken again.

Anyway....SP0 is fun..... Ask a question and you get told..."It works here".

Just to be sure. :?

You want people to get permission of the autor before they link to a file?

You say a file of chessbase, hosted on chessbase' server might possibly be an illegal downlaod?
No I want them to get permission before uploading it themselves to a file sharing website and then publishing that link. If there is an official link to a download from CB then of course that link can be published. You have missed the point the published link was not to the CB website but to a file sharing site.
Harvey is absolutely right and his argument is logical to say the least 8-)

And in the meantime the software is broken.

:)

Christopher
Yes,and it sems that the bugs in this release are more serious than the previous one,Deep Fritz 11....
Most of the baddies in the previous GUI got fixed after a while. You are right. So why the things that got fixed get broken again is disturbing. I think plenty people would buy it IF they knew that it was not bust coming out of the packet or at least if they had a way to fix it immediately.

Thanks Dr. D - One thing about this debate that makes me smile is that I have tested betas for many people, mainly for Mark Uniacke of course. One thing no author of Chess software has ever said to me is that when I send them bug reports that I should cc the Arena team!?

You see? That is where you lose the plot. You perceive me as an Arena person or part of the Arena team.

The fact is in this situation, I am a customer.

I see no bug fixing from you, I only see defensive pot shots at what you see as something that undermines your precious buggy little program.

Customers do have rights you know, whether they buy Fritz, Aquarium or any other software.

Can you fix the layout problem? Yes or No?

Can you actually help for once, or is that too much to ask?
