Fritz 12 Analysis Request

Post by Arsha Mahdavi »

Fritz 11 was not tactically good as its predecessor “the 10th version”. At one time, just after the release of “Deep Fritz 11” I requested the output analysis of this new engine with the following diagram:

[d]2r1r3/pp2bp1k/4qBp1/n2pPpQp/3P4/4R3/P1PN1PPP/1R4K1 w - - 0 25

So I repeat (updating) my solicitation: I would be very thankful if someone could give the output analysis of this new Fritz 12 from the above position. How much time it would take for Fritz 12 to find move Rh3! here?

-- From the evidences I can state that this new Fritz 12 is basically the old “Deep Fritz 11” with disabled SMP code and a few Elo improvements. Or there are counter examples? …

Thanks In Advance.

Hi Engin,

Don't care what somebody write.

There is a Fritz 12 engine on the Fritz 12 DVD.

And he found Rb3 in 2s.

Probably Fritz 12 can show this move in MultiPV mode but not instantly with a score of +- Rh3!
