In October 2009, a chess engine called IPPOLOT was released, which according to some tests is stronger than the latest available version of Rybka.Author of Rybka stated that IPPOLIT is a clone of Rybka.However IPPOLIT is not only stronger, but significantly different: the code is smaller, uses less memory and uses different strategy.

Wiki is a great source of information but as just about anyone can edit any page it should never be trusted.

Wiki is a great source of information but as just about anyone can edit any page it should never be trusted.
Totaly agreed Harvey,but is getting a little spicy here in the forum and Silvian brought a breeze of a fresh air....
